Hi, I'm Eltee and I am a developer. With a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a minor in Philosophy I have a unique way of thinking that can help me understand your ideas and turn them into reality.
With over 5 years of experience in software, website and game development, I have acquired an extensive toolset that assists me in my everyday life.
I have a passionate love for video games and all things soccer!!!
Built from scratch without any supporting frameworks, the highlight of the TimeSleeper teaser site is the stargaze effect which mixes dynamic and static stars to create an experience that you just want to stare at forever (but really like 2 minutes :P).
Can also be useful to play pranks on people when asked if the stars are moving or not.
This website was built with a mixture of two technology stacks.
The front end is build on WordPress and features several custom plugins written in PHP as well as custom design elements. As the client of this website was not a fan of the wordpress interface for admin duties, an ASP.NET MVC app was written to power all administrative tools. The most common of which
takes the URL of a Youtube video and auto generates a new page on the website. The MVC WebApp also has features that lets the client monitrr user traffic and manage email subscriptions.

Choose Your Reality
Built while I was an employee of Manitoba Public Insurance, this website was build with WordPress. It highlights the first time I worked hand in hand with a graphic designer who was very instrumental in picking the feel of this website.
This was the first website I made with WordPress and features a lot of custom plugins as well as extensive SEO.
This website acts as the home for a campaign that promotes safe and unimpaired driving among youth through the use of an interactive 3d game.
Another one built upon the Wordpress stack. This website introduced me to a few interesting UI/UX concepts. Most noticeable are the Parallax images used as dividers between sections, the custom scrollbar, and the smooth scroll experience
that urges users who scroll with a mouse wheel to actually take in the contents of your web page when scrolling through.
This website acts as the portfolio for aspiring videographer and web designer Fawwaz M. Yusuf.
Initially created by Bisong Taiwo, Touch Combat was a mobile hack and slash game with an emphasis on racking up as many combo hits as possible while taking a minimal amount of damage.
The narrative of the game was written in poetry form with rhyming lines (Half of which I also had the priviledge of writing. Having had the priviledge to work on this game in my youth, I was disappointed to learn that it was no longer on the google play store.
Armed with an earlier version of the source code from almost a decade ago, and the blessing of the original creator, I decided to undertake the task of recreating this nostalgic game for Xbox One console.
Under the hood
Initially developed with Unity 4 (2012), most of the APIs supporting the game had been deprecated, become obsolete and no longer supported on newer versions of Unity. Additionally, some of the third party tools that were used to power the game were no longer in business.
These were just some of the exciting challenges that I faced when I undertook the work. After months of rewriting and refactoring code, Touch Combat now runs smoothly on the latest version of Unity (2018) and all obosolete functionality had been upgraded to meet industry standards.
There were trying times during development and I haven't been able to do this all by myself. As always, Bisong himself has remained a constant consultant on the project offering insightful advice to help keep me on track.
Another great help during the early days of development was Dozie Enwerem whose background in animation was a great help!
Latest Update: All Combat elements are done. Now implemening dialogue screens.
